At Griffin's Place, we strive to empower individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with the knowledge and opportunities they need to engage in their community. By connecting our members with these opportunities, we identify, promote, and build the capacity for all individuals to actively participate in every aspect of life. Based in Washington County, we at Griffin's Place employ community-building strategies to encourage our members to become more independent, self-motivated, and confident members of the community.  We also support community members in building their confidence in welcoming all people in all places and spaces.

The 2018 Cocktails for a Cause event will raise money needed to support our participants and their families through varied and constantly evolving programs, such as dance nights, art classes, and exercise-promoting scavenger hunts. These funds will also help us to develop and implement new initiatives, including a passport program that encourages members to set and realize personal goals as well as community disability awareness training for businesses.

Cocktails for a Cause will take place Saturday, October 27th 2018 from 4 to 7 PM.  Join us to learn more about our organization, listen to music and help us raise much needed funds to continue what we love doing! 

Tickets $45: includes appetizers, dessert, beer and wine
